Geforce 6

I recently bought a Geforce 6 but now i am recieveing errors often the screen freeses for about 20 seconds goes black and then is all better again this happenns often when scrolling fast or something similar

Scrolling fast... sounds like bad video card memory to me. It's possible to try different drivers (I doubt this'll make a change) or try the card in a different PC and see if you get the same results.

Ok thanks, It has a 6 month warentee but something weird i just noticed is that when this happens anymusic I am listing to stops until the screen turns of and gets better, bit more complicated than i thought in the first place.

I had a similar problem with a Apollo Geforce 6600gt. Ultimately I had to send the card back and got an EVGA 6600gt which worked out fine.
