Geforce 4Go Clock Throttling

My toshiba 1410 laptop has (I know slow but don't remind me) nVidia Geforce4 420Go with only 16MB which gives reasonable performance in games like UT2K3 and GTA-VC at low resolutions. I know this chip has power management but is there any way to force full power when running off a battery.

If I set the PowerMiser settings to Max Performance i get:
AC Power - 4637 3DMark2k1 - 640x480x32
Battery - 2114 3DMark 2k1 - 640x480x32

I made sure PowerMiser was set to Max Performance on battery power but performance is way lower, similar to to my old TNT2 Pro in my old P3 comp a few years back. How can I force Max Power on battery?
