guys has anyone heard rumors or have specs on Nvidia 2nd generation of awesome cards. i have seen reference to ATI's Radeon 9000, but no info yet. later
I don't think the NV25 is going to be a "GeForce4." Rather, the NV30 (from my understanding) which is due in nVidia's 6 month cycle after the release of the GF3 Titaniums, the NV25 looks like it could be available for sale in late Jan or Early Feb and would be more of a GF3 Ultra than a GF4... Then, however, I am not too sure about this just like everyone else is I am sure.

That is my thought exactly. From the new specs, there isent enough change to call it there next gen chip. I think N-Vidia is going to do what AMD has been doing for quite some time now, which is bettering uppon(or adding new technologys and enhancements to) current technology. If you look at it, there are hardly *ANY* games that make use of any of the GF3's features, whats the point of throwing new technology out into the market when your current technology hasent even been put to use?. Look at AMDs very first Athlon, and then look at the Athlon XP, nuff said, this so called NV25 looks to be nothing but a next-gen Ge-Force 3 to me. Thats a great thing though, more speed!
1. Anything is a guess now. I wouldn't waste time speculating.
2. There are already too damn many versions of Nvidia chips!! GF2MX, GF2MX200, GF2MX400, GF2Ti, GF3Ti200, GF3, GF3Ti500.....whew! We need a GF3U only a couple months after like a kick in the nuts.
3. ATI nutcases will say that it is suck and proclaim superior DVD performance as a decisive factor.

1) Speculating's fun
3) DVD performance isn't the decisive factor. Price, 3d quality, 2d quality, DVD Quality, feature set, are all decisive factors for me.
