Any VIVO functionality is card specific, you'll need to install the drivers for your card.

If you're running Detonator drivers they support video out, but not video in.

It's a VisionTek card and the port on the back isn't actually S-video, it came with a little splitter thng that has one s-video in and one s-video out. I installed all of the stuff that come on the drivers disk, but i don't know how to view the stuff that's supposedly comeing into my computer now.

I had a VisionTek Ti4600. They did come with the VIVO chip. Did you install the WDM drivers I linked above?

Now your capture software should see a capture device available. You should also see it in device manager.

No. Its a driver for the capture hardware. I dont remember what the VT card came with for capture SW. Some crummy Cyberlink thing or something.....

Those are just the video capture drivers w/c are listed in the Device Manager/Sound,video and game controllers.

There should be some separate video capture sw that came with the card.

/Edit:

If it came from Cyberlink, then it's probably Cyberlink's PowerDirector.

You can check for an eval. copy here.

Are there any better programs that anyone knows about? All I really need is something so that I can watch TV, but I don't want a really crappy program. Also it would be nice if I didn't have to buy it to use it for more than 30 days.
