I'm planning on getting an geforce 4 ti4200... When will it come out and which company will make it?

According to Anand it'll launch in two months.
It's a pretty safe bet many manufacturers will develop cards based on the Ti4200.

It's annoying that their posponing the release of this card. It's just a clocked down version. The hold back is most likely to not hinder on the MX inital sales.

it's a maketing strategy. they release the powerhouse before the announced weak ones. this way, you'll be pissed off and be forced to buy the more expensive one because they know you want in NOW IMHO

it's smart though.
