They also included some very impressive overclocking results (cards runs 300/580 with stock cooler)

This is great, I knew the Ti4200 would be overclockable, but I never dreamed it would be overclockable to Ti4600 levels with just stock cooling. This is extremely good news.

I might have considered it for the mATX tower I've been working on, but the card is just too gawd damn big...

Under what circumstances would the 128MB 4200 outperform the 64MB 4200?

For the benchies it seems that it would be waste of money to payup for the 128MB 4200.

It looks like the 64MB version actually beats the 128MB version in all the benchmarks that I looked at. It is FSAA where the extra memory really pays off. I guess we'll have to wait and see if the 128MB version is actually faster.

Yah thats what i was wondering about. It seems that high bandwidth offered by faster memory of the 64MB version is much more important that the addition 64MB of slower memory offered by the more expensive 128MB version.

One thing i would like to know tho is, what were the minimum FPS with 128MB and 64MB versions. The larger amount of memory in the 128MB version should allow for greater consistencey in the FPS and lessen the slowdowns whenever large number of polygons need to be processed.

I dont think any of the previews and reviews so far have covered the min. FPS angle. AT sometimes covers that in its reviews and hopefully it will do so this time as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing what price this will come out at. Also, if there will be 128 MB cards with faster RAM or not.

The price/performance of the Ti4200 is impressive, but what they are doing with the 128MB/64MB cards is pretty crappy, although not as bad as the GF4MX cards. Sure anyone that knows better can avoid the GF4MXs or the GF4Ti4200 128MB, but most people dont know any better. Especially when you see those cards as the default on dell.com or wherever.
