geforce 4 mx440 doesn't work, why?

I just got a geforce 4 mx440 a few days ago and when i got it i had a 200 watt ps with a 900 duron and a geforce 2. now i had tried to put it in and figured the reason it didn't work was because there wasnt' enough power (i was unable to add my other cd rom drive for that reason). however i just went out and bought a 300watt ps and when i put it in i get the same thing, blank screen. the weird thing is my wife has a computer that i put it in my wife's computer to see if it was the video card and it worked.. her computer is a pentium 2 450 with 250 watt ps. what in the world is going on do i need to update the bios or something (btw i have an ecs k7s5a mb)
 
i have just got done doing all of those things with no luck, i have sent an email to ecs thinking perhaps it's a problem with that certain mobo but i doubt it. i don't know what else to do anyone have any ideas....
