Geforce 3 problem!

hi guys, I just got a Geforce 3 (upgrade from my old Radeon) for pretty cheap. Anyway, I unistall my old Radeon drivers, put on the Geforce drivers and get ready for some gaming. First play some SOF2, goes 100% graphically. (My sound card is too old and dies when playing SOF). Then I go for some CS action. What a mistake. First thing my computer does, within five seconds of getting into the game is completely reboot. It's the kind of reboot you get when you hit the restart button. I try changing video modes, still reboots, I try older drivers and it still reboots. I'm totally at a loss as to what to do. The card works fine with Empire Earth and SOF2 (the only other games I play right now).

Can someone please help? 🙂

🙁 Very briefly you may need to do a fresh install of Windows, nVidia and ATI seem to enjoy screwing up each others drivers by leaving remanants behind even after uninstallation, switching between nVidia and ATI always seems to give probs.
