Geforce 3 by Gainward? 3.8ns DDR?

3.8ns DDR Visiontek uses 4.0 don't it?

The first batches of VisionTek use 3.8ns ddram. Word is they will switch to 4.0ns with later batches. Given the much improved memory management on the GF3, I don't think there is a noticable difference between 3.8ns vs. 4.0ns.

I don't know about that card but my Visiontek has 3.8ns ram, I removed the heatsink to check.
Gainword is a respectable company though.

Shouldn't impact performance out of the box, but the 3.8 should help overclockability of the RAM.

4ns => 250 sdr => 500 ddr
3.8ns => 263 sdr => 526 ddr

standard is 460 out of box, just like the GF2 Ultra
