Geforce 2Pro and Need For Speed3 son't mix well!

Dear Friends

As this is an older game, I cannot use a Geforce2 Pro from the 3D setup menu. However, I have heard that there are ways of tweaking the registry and using unofficial patches. I love this series to bits, but cannot get this card to work on it.

Can anyone please help.

Go back to the 8.03 driver, the newer 14's-21's have a few issues on older games with the Geforce 2. The 8.03 is very compatible, looks excellent, and still is very fast for the Geforce 2.

Det. 6.18 with DX7a works very good also. DX6.1 or DX7a(works great in both 16bit and 32bit color) on the Need for Speed 4. I believe the NFS3 is a voodoo favored engine but with these old Det drivers do work quite well. I had played NFS3 with the Det 6.18 and worked great. I am still using 6.18 cauze it's so damn fast even on a Quake3A. Only 0.9 to 1 FPS slower than the Det 22.80. 6.18 RULEZZZZZZ.
