Geforce 2 MX

I have never heard of a "Daytona Geforce II MX 32Mb AGP" or a "Abit Geforce II MX 32Mb AGP", though I am going to get one of these 2. Are they any good? I remember someone (don't remember where and who in this forum) mentioning in some thread that some Geforce2 MX cards come with 64bit SDR SDRAM(i.e. crap). If this is true then do the aforementioned cards have this kind of memory and which one would you recommend?

The DDR versions of Geforce2 MX are 64 bit, there are a lot of reference boards out from many companies based on the 128 Bit SDRAM Geforce2 MX,I have one myself(Sparkle Geforce2 MX),anyway they all use the standard Nvidia reference drivers apart from the big companies like Asus,Creative etc which use there own(you can still use Nvidia reference drivers on these cards).

If you go with the big companies chances are you will get better ram for overclocking, the smaller more unknown companies may or may not overclock so well,at the end of the day it`s down to money & how bad you want to overclock,my own card will only do 175mhz on memory & 220mhz on core but I`m very happy with it since it`s only temporary until the NV20 comes out.
🙂
