Geforce 2 GTS overclocking question

Hi, I have a old Hercules Geforce 2 GTS w/ TV out that I picked up recently for cheap. I have flashed the bios on it and have been trying to O/C it as of late. I have been using the coolbits program for the O/C. However, I can only get the memory up to around 375 (stock is 333) before it begins to pixelate on the desktop immediately. What I was wondering is do you guys think this is just the limitation for the -6ns SGRAM or would some new ramsinks help out? It has ramsinks from the factory but I have no idea how Hercules applied them (as far as thermal interface). Please LMK. 🙂

I would doubt that new ramsinks would really boost performance that much, if at all. You're probably reaching the limits of your card at this point.

375 is about the upper limit for that kinda RAM, my GTS only hit 235/360 with stock cooling (tiny HSF on core, bare mem chips) before artifacting, and with RAM sinks it was artfifact-free up to 250/370. I would save the cash for a beefier card 🙂

375 is great... mine would only do like 360 before it started to have a heart attack.. RAM sinks may help.. but are they really worth it on such a video card? I personally wouldn't waste my time for maybe another 10MHz.
