Geezus!!! NO Lebron? He's not an NBA allstar?

Im sorry, but peja and brand is better than lebron at this point of their respective careers.
Maybe 2 to 3 years from now, I can definately see him starting, but not now.

Seriously, who do you want to drop from the roster? Or do you want the rules changed where you don't need to balance the positions? The latter would be dumb, IMO, b/c then it's not an All-Star "team". The former, well, blame the fans for voting in Vince "I'm always injured" Carter and the coaches for Paul "gimme the ball" Pierce (he's gotten better, I should be nicer). The other guards and forwards all deserve to be there.

i am surprised that he didn't get voted on (by the fans), considering how popular his jersey was and how much notoriety he's had.

Just because you're the highest paid player doesn't buy you a spot on the all-star team.

dude, hes nowhere NEAR overhyped. every expectation he has made, and some surpassed.

38 points in a game, MANY nba players have never had.

he has he is 18, first year.

he might DOMINATE the rookie game though.

MIKE

I don't think it's that big of a deal seeing how LeBron has many, many chances left, while for these other guys, it may be their last all-star game.

go kings. glad to see peja and miller in. too bad webber is out. otherwise he would be an allstar too.

do you think Miller would have been an All Star with Webber healthy? i don't think so.

except for the fact that Melo posted 39! 😛

I really think that Shaq doesn't deserve to be in. Is he the most dominent center? Yes. Has he played long enough to qualify for the all star? I don't think so.

I think Artest is doing very well this season defensively or offensively. He is definitely a big factor in Indiana success. Well, he is better than what people give him credit for.

ya, but if carlisle isn't the east all star coach how much you wanna bet artest doesn't get in?

Oh since Lebron is listed as guard, too much competition for him in the East. Even Chauncey Billup and Marbury is more deserved than Lebron is.

Carlisle couldn't vote for Artest actually. Coaches voted in the bench players and you can't vote for your own players.

Ok, I don't watch the NBA anymore but I do catch a lot of the highlights so someone explain this to me. The hype for the both or these guys (mostly Lebron) was HUGE and they've both definitely exceeded expectations from what I've seen and been told. Therefore, added with the highlights I've been seeing, I would assume that they must both be doing pretty damn good. Plus I believe I read a few weeks ago that Lebron was second only to MJ in PPG scored during a rookie year. How the hell does that not get you an all-star spot?
