Geeky habit/trait you've given up?

I'm in the process of selling my old console video games on eBay, and plan to sell off my old comics and other nerdy stuff. Not sure why I collected those things years ago - maybe the money I get from selling them I can pay off some of my student loans?

Anybody else getting rid of their stuff? I still like to browse the comic books from time to time, but resist the urge to buy a few. Some of the new transformers they have seemed kinda cool, but what can I really do with action figures anymore!

I'd qualify those as nerdy traits 😛 I don't have comics, no action figures, I don't even own a gaming console!!! 😛

liking comics and video games doesn't make you a nerd... it's the low social skills that pushes most people over the edge 🙂

I've got those too! 😀

I've given up MMOLRPG's (it was hard and it involved a crow-bar beween me and te keyboard), but as most peps have already mentioned; The label of 'nerd' 'geek', etc normaly relates to poor social skills. Not down to the stuff you own (I have closet full of Magic the gathering cards and a huge box of warhammer models.

I don't consider myself any kind of label as that's just stereotypicalising (sp?).

My love is around my yamaha yzf600r motorbike, my family and the 'interesting' situations you find yourself in when meeting new pep's

Have fun, enjoy life, raise a smile to strangers
