Actually many manufacturers have been doing away with the glove box light. They expect you to turn on your dome light to see.

There's no light in it already? Weird...my Accord has a lighted glovebox. You are talking about a convenience light, right? Not some sort of fancy glowstick/blacklight under the glovebox?

maybe just buy a $2 flashlight from BigLots and leave it in there
It is done as a cost save. A big three car company, that I work for, did a survey on this and found out that most people would even notice their car doesn't have a glove box light. I noticed this change even in a model year, 1995 model had it and 1996 model doesn't, and no other change was made to the interior. The funny thing was the owner manual still listed it as a feature.Originally posted by: filmmaker

Yeah, that's almost like taking the sun visors out of your car so you can't see while you drive! There's no way I could see into my glovebox without the light inside.
Bingo, hint hint to my previous post.Originally posted by: bunker
I just make crap up as I go along, I have no idea if what I said is true or not.
Although, I don't recall seeing a light in my wife's Focus and I know my F-150 doesn't have one.

If it doesnt come with a light, thenits no prob. if your stereo is stock, there should be a lead for the glovebox light. Just go to your honda dealer and ask them about it. They should be able to hook you up. Or you could always put one in yourself, thats what i did with my friends corolla
