I can't tell from the picture if it's the 9600 w/ the 64 bit memory bus either.

please post if anyone finds out or can tell from the pics or specs.

Have you ever seen a 64-bit 9600 with 4 memory chips on front? I haven't.

I originally posted during the midnight madness on Sunday that the layout and markings on this 9600 is identical to the HIS Excalibur and Connect 3D 9600 cards with 128-bit memory.

Wonder if Panda Software would upgrade the Platinum Internet Security to the 2005 version... I know they've sent me a couple of offers to upgrade my existing (whatever version it was that was free to IS folks) and extend it by 3 months for $20 or so.

Looks like a bunch of the stuff just recycles through the listing -- I'm seeing the same things coming up on different pages...

I paid $11 to get a ton of crap shipped to Alaska, they didn't rape me on the shipping at all. I picked up a bunch of little nice things, like PCI IDE controllers for $7, just little miscellaneous stuff like that. Not too bad. My first order from Geeks though, so I'll see how it works out.

I picked up one of those. They are showing a different set now on the sale site, but they weigh less and have a different # of chips / color.

Actually looks like they just added another set on there... 7 more of the set i got.

I just got my geeks.com order (sizzling sunday).

The $37.99 9600 128MB card has a 128-bit memory interface (8 8Mbit x 16 chips) and has 4ns Samsung memory on it. Woohoo!

The cards come plain packaged in an anti-static bag with nothing else. I'm glad I ordered 2.

Anyone know if this monitor will be ok for gaming? It says it has a 16ms response time.

16ms is pretty good for gaming. I have a 16ms one and it performs well. I wouldn't buy that particular one that geeks.com is selling though. There's no brand, and it states in the description that it can have up to 8 defects. Besides, there are better deals around here on AT all of the time. There are 17" dells that sometimes go for $175 or so.

Lexmark X1185 PrinTrio All-in-One USB Printer/Scanner/Copier $39.99 http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=X1185-R

* I bought one of these players last week. It's pretty nice. Having built-in speakers might sound like a dumb idea, but it's great for reviewing voice recorder audio without dragging out headphones. It can also do direct MP3 encoding. The backlit bitmapped LCD is split in 2 parts (the ovals). http://www.vamp-mp3.com/vp228/siyou.html (VP-328)

** This might be an x300 with 128-bit memory interface. Several sites list the same card and show 128-bit memory.
