No worries ,I found one anyway ,check this one out 🙂

For the record I don't mind the normal ads ,well except the fast flashing ones too, now I've blocked them all atm ,nice home goal AT!😛 (really its obvious these would be extra annoying!).
 
You do not see them with Firefox .. But they do show up on IE6 ... Haven't
tried it on IE7 or Opera yet.

IE7 at home and at work both get them for me. I try to scroll down and the BOA and The Last King of scotland ad both pop up and steal browser focus. I then I have to click the damn close button.

They aren't exactly popup ads...they do not pop up in a seperate window. They are banner ads that expand into a large ad within the page and if you scroll down, they follow the page down so that it takes up the space at the top of the page. Not sure what they are called, but just wanted to clarify.
 
I can't change the hosts file on my work computer....

Seriously, can we get rid of this ad? Do these companies think annoying ads like this work? I was actually considering opening a BoA account, now there is about 0% chance of that.

Most companies design/approve the ad screen.

Then they buy advertising from an ad server. It is the ad server that would usually make the determination on how to "serve' up the ads.

 
IE7 users I would recommend downloading IE7Pro and then setting it to disable flash .. takes care of this annoying ad and you are able to easily restore flash where needed.
 
Ya know that they make versions of Firefox that run off of a flash drive now... right?

If they're stupid enough to fire you from running THAT, you're probably better off not working there.

Right, but generally there are agreements as to what type of ad can be shown - and if no pop-outs isn't part of the agreement, it should be!

My company is so stupid that we are strictly forbidden to install or run any foreign software on our computers. My company is stupid enough to make the F22 Raptor. I'll deal with IE6....
