I think its hard to play a game that doesnt have a goal system nowadays, it becomes very boring very fast... Thats why I tend to prefer games such as Final Fantasy and such, the quest to get more powerful and beat stronger monsters etc is what makes it really addicting... I cant imagine myself playing a game like Doom now, since there is basically no reward, other than getting better weapons throughout the game... Yay for e-penis increasing rewards
