Besides, sniping with a mouse is going to be too easy. Effectively using weapons with the controller is what sets the good players apart from the rest.

Better use of autoaim?
I've played it on the 360, and sniping is when you use autoaim to your high advantage. It's pretty lame, actually. You can get good at sniping if you try to aim less.

that would be awesome, but look at the trend here. How long did it take for halo to come out on PC? and now halo 2? i wouldn't expect GoW to appear any time in 2007. but hey, mabye it will look even better than it does on 360.

BWAHAHAHAHA! That was good. You're lucky if it'll look the same as it does now, which by the time it's actually released on PC won't be so hot.

If they make a good port it will look far better than the 360 on a good computer.
EDIT: Just look at Oblivion compared to the 360 on a PC.

While its possible this port will turn out ok, Oblivion is not a good example of a port since it was developed for both systems fromt he start. And given how long it was in development, it spent most of its time being developed for PCs. Although you couldn't tell it by just looking at the interface.

Epic may do a good job on it, but if you look at how Microsoft handles its other exclusives you'll see they really shouldn't bother if they're going to do a repeat of halo. Its like how Fox kills its hit shows on purpose. Microsoft doesn't really want Halo, or GoW or any other of their previous exclusives to be better or even decent on the PC because then people might not buy an xbox360. The result is a turded up port with awful performance on top of the line hardware while providing dated visuals.
