We bought THIS awhile back when our small oven died on us. We now make it the most used appliance in the house. My wife bakes in it, grills in it (hot dogs and polish omg my mouth is watering) and we rotisserie in it. We have cooked chicken, ham, and roasts in it so far and never have I had stuff so juicy in my life.
By far the best food ever comes out of it and we havent lit our regular oven in a long time. Why buy a showtime rotisserie that only does one thing when you can do it all for a third of the price.

For $50 with a rotisserie you will not find a better deal PERIOD! Can be picked up at some locations (we found it next town over and one left too :))
Been using it almost every day for the last 4 months or so with no problems. Also comes fully loaded with everything you could need.

Larger photo can be found here. And turns out to be a walmart exclusive so it cant be found anywhere else :p

Photo of mine on a super small counter can be seen here for idea of size.

Small example of what has come from our oven. Rotated on high for 1 hour. Nothing but seasoning added.
The juice you see if directly from the meat, we added nothing.

HERE is a 6lb Turkey Breast roasted 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. I couldnt help but show the picture of possably the most juicy turkey I have ever had in my life. Lighty coated with oil and seasoned with garlic and onion powder.
If that doesnt make you hungry I dont know what else to say or show you!

All the time!!!! Just make sure you pick up some cooking string so you can tie the legs and wings back. In 1 hour and 20 minutes you will be eating some of the best chicken in your life CHEAP! I believe it can do up to a 3 pound roast in it. When wife comes home I will see where she stuck the manual if needed but it is a very good size.

We had one but returned it. Takes up WAY too much counter space. I like doing the beercan chicken method anyway :)

Ours sits on our only counter space and with what comes out of that black box I will never get rid of it no matter how much space it takes up. In fact I got hungy making this thread so I am making polish in it as I write this for breakfast :)
I buy the super cheap polish from aldi's. Get like 30 for $3 and oh so good. <shorts keyboard out with drool>

Hmmm i'm tempted to buy this. How hard is it to clean the chicken and so on? Is it mostly just good for Chicken? How about those Gyro/Shwarma things I see? i wonder if this could do that.

No you can cook what ever your heart desires in this thing. We cook everything we can in it. Clean up is a breeze acording to my wife. As far as wht you mentioned to cook I dont knwo what that is but if it is supposed to cook going around and around it will do it. I can go on and on about this thing and how great everything goes into it comes out. My wife bakes cakes in it, does bisquets, if it needs to be cooked and not in a pot it goes in it.
I my wife prefers it to the oven. She had told me if the frozen pizzas would fit in it she would never use the big oven again. By pizzas were talking tombstone. They are 2 inches to big. The chea kids ones fit perfect.

Polish sausage, i.e. kielbasa. Mmm, tasty!

Moochadime, you could cut your pizzas into pieces before you back them. :)

Being Polish, I'm usually offended at what supermarkets pass for kielbasa. That red smoked sausage stuff IS NOT kielbasa (Polish sausage). Real kielbasa is actually gray in color, is very tender, and has a mild black pepper/garlic taste.

Anyway, the way to make it best is to boil raw kielbasa for 45 minutes - 1 hour, let it cool, then slice it and bake it for another hour in a baking pan w/ 2 cups of water. Eat with spicy mustard or (my favorite) ketchup mixed with a dab of fresh horseradish.

Eat with some kapusta (sweet and sour cabbage), some golumpki (cabbage rolls), and maybe even some Potica (coffee cake). I made this two Sundays ago....hooo hooo hohoooooooo man :D

If I can afford the real stuff I will boil it for a few hours with cabbage and potatoes. Then take it out and drizzle (yes I said drizzle) butter over th taters and cab and eats.

Where I am at it costs roughly $50 a month just to use the dryer and the stove. In winter my gas is more then my electricty bill and that includes in the summer when the central air is going. I tape off all the windows and 2 years ago had a new door instlled and still my gas is out of sight and I live in a trailer :p
But I have to admit and this is no BS my bill has dropped since we stoped using the oven as much.

I live in a small apartment with a kitchenette and no oven. I have to use a Cuisinart toaster oven for anything that requires baking or roasting, and I gotta say, I've been less than impressed. I got the biggest model I could find, but the main problem I have with it is that it's still so small that most things I put in there get cooked too fast on the outside, because of the proximity to the heating element. Yeah, small things like toast and hot dogs are fine, but chicken, meatloaf, banana bread, etc. all came out charred on top, no matter where I put the rack. Even biscuits and cookies didn't come out well because they were done on top before the middles set. I can't imagine this being different with other models, considering I did some research before making the purchase and this was one of the highest-rated toaster ovens. I'd really like to see someone prove me wrong, as I'm stuck living here for another year and I really like to cook.

Wow you sold me. I'd like to buy it in person if possible. Any chance it's available in store? I'll be making a trip out to walmart tonight anyways to get some other crap.

Well called the walmarts around us and made sure they had one. It was their last one and I had them stick it behind the counter for me to pick up. May want to do the same. You have to pick up a ham/roast/ whole chicken and cook it and tell everyone how well you loved it! We cooked in ours the day we bought it. I couldnt wait to have my own rotisserie chicken :D

Sir I will make you a promise that this one dosnt burn a thing. Everything we have ever cooked in it has come out outstanding. If you are close to me I will make you some chicken in it rotating or in the pan and the top get crispy (not burned) and the insides are so tender. I trully cannot tell you all the things we have made with ours including cookies that trully we have put up the oven for the better part of any cooking that needs to get done. I cannot tell you or anyone how great of an oven/rotisserie this is.
BUT dont take my word on it. Its $50 and from walmart so if you dont like it you can get your money back. I will never be without mine. I may waddle myself into the kitchen and throw some chicken in it for a snack and pop off some pics.

Do you sell these things? ;)

Seriously, I still don't know. $50 isn't much (mine was $100), but I don't want to spend the money and end up feeling like it's not a big improvement. It's just that toaster ovens in general have a reputation for being a "jack of all trades, master of none" type of appliance, and after my less than encouraging experiences with one I can't say I'm enthusiastic about buying another.

Google search turns up the following reviews:
Epinions
I'm a little concerned about it getting hot on the outside. I have no counter and would have to put it on a wooden storage unit. Never had any problems with the Cuisinart in this respect.

Any additional thoughts or comments are welcome. I'm still wavering.

save yourself the pain. It does NOT do rotisserie!! Yes, the box and the instructions say it does but it does not. When I called the 800 repair number they told me to take it back without missing a beat. I had a 4LB chicken and yes I tied the legs and made sure it was balanced. It would not turn the chicken at all.

It is an attractive oven and it is well priced. It is a toaster oven, but the rotisserie did NOT work. I tried 2 different ones just in case the first one was defective.

Good Luck if you buy this one. (I think that it should rotisserie up to 5 lbs):(

LOL no I dont sell them. I am just wierd about a thing I buy, I tend to go a little overboard :p

I dont know what to tell you, yes it does get hot and so did my other toaster oven. I dont think it really get much hotter then my regular over. You need to keep space around it for that matter we keep ours generally around 4-6 inches away from the wall. All I can say is what I have about it. It trully cooks some of the best food I have ever tasted. Yes the toast takes awhile to cook in it but it too tastes better then any toast I have ever had. I am soaking some chicken quarters in the fridge and am making them tomorrow. If anyone cares (or not) I will take some shots and you can see for yourself what comes out of that black box.

As far as sticking it on a piece of wood, I dont know. My counter is laminated pressboard and it isnt scorched by it by any means.

There is a guy that claims he was buying one tonight. lets see what he has to say about it :)

A note of caution: if you have pet birds, be VERY careful when using these. Anything that has a Teflon coating, which these do, can give off fumes that will kill your birds. My wife and I almost bought one, but decided against it for that very reason. If you do have birds, and have the toaster oven in a well-ventilated area far away from where the birds are, you'll probably be okay, but we decided it wasn't worth the chance.
