Soooo....maybe it's time to start saving some money?
 
My guess is he didn't realize recruiter he used to find that good job at Dell wants to get paid for their service, just like realtor who finds someone an apartment can charge something like a month's rent equivalent for their service (?)

If so, vent while you are at home, but make sure it doesn't spill over at work or even cuss out recruiter (my guess is contract you signed to represent you spelled out fee even if you didn't realize it (though recruiter probably should have pointed that explicitly to you before you signed contract).

Think long-term; you got your foot in door for very good job opportunity.

Don't create a lasting negative impression during temporary fit of rage.
