Well if you are a fan of the GC-68 from SVC you'll be happy to hear they are back in stock! I just picked up two!

It may not be the best HSF in the world but what a deal! I have one on my Athlon XP 1800+ and I love it. Comes with a free decent fan (I replaced with antec tri-led fan :p) and a free grill! Get them, hot :p

Rock on for a cheap, efficient cooler. Easier to stock 80mm's for spares and the vendor kicks butt!

is that the same as this one?

I just bought 2 of these and put Panaflos on them.
yes, cheaper at case-mod.com

Thanks, I found the bottoms very rough on mine (looks like they wire brushed them.). I am going to lap them tonight and see if it makes an improvement.

I flipped the fans on mine, cools much better blowing on the HS.

btw, case-mod.com is out of the GC-68. So SVC is probably your best bet. Can anyone report what shipping case-mod.com was charging?

I dunno, but for 1/4 the price it is a pretty darn good HSF provided you have room for it.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This was one of those items that keep you from building a system...
is that the same as this one?
Yes, but the shipping is much more reasonable at SVC. I'm glad that I waited 6 hours because I almost bought from Nexfan.

Edit: Does anyone know who currently has the best deal on Panaflo L1a's? I was going to buy them at SVC, but they are $6.99 ea. Ouch! I'm looking in the sub $5 range ea. preferrably

Thanks!

You mean these? Buy ten of 'em for $27.50 + about $5 shipping.
Good deal on L1a's
Thanks for the deals guys. Do you happen to know if these fans come tailed or not? I don't see any mention of it. Both prices are great. I think it will come down to who can ship it cheaper. I do need a few, but I don't think I need 10 or 12. ;)

Also, have you guys dealt with these companies before? I've never heard of them. Any problems?

Thanks again and if anyone has these guys any cheaper, by all means. Heh.

Sal

PS.. Very sorry to hijack this thread and turn it into a Panaflo deals thread.

I ordered 10 L1a's from B. G. Micro a while ago. No problems with my order. The fans came with a 2 pin tail. If you clip off one edge it fits on a motherboard header just fine.

Ok.. I don't know if I'm so happy with my order from MPJA. When I ordered the 12 fans, they told me that shipping was added to the order and I didn't see anything. Now, I get the email confirmation and it says, "Actual shipping will be added to order". What the h*ll does that mean? They will just add the shipping later? What kind of site is this?

Grrrrrrrrrrr.. I thought I was getting free shipping and now I don't know what the h*ll, I'm going to end up paying for shipping.

MPJA adds actual UPS Ground charges after the order is placed, so it's reasonable shipping.

The web site does suck, but they're reliable & have some good stuff cheap. If you need to call them someone always picks up & is helpful.
