Gays in the military?

Perhaps a small goodness, Gay people are less likely to rape women around their military bases?

I think if women can serve, gays can serve too. They might need special accomodations, but there are probably ways in which they can contribute. But since I don't plan on joining the military barring a draft, I really couldn't care less.

Hmm, in both his official and unofficial biographies nothing is mentioned about him being gay. I fact, the opposite was stressed as he was a devoted husband.
