Gay people?

First off: I don't have a real problem with gays, im not gay myself, and dont really care what they think of me.

Why is it that people who dislike gays or talk crap about them are seen bad, while some gay people can talk bad about straight people and totaly get away with it? In my leadership our teacher is a gay male and we have a few gay students in the class, it seems that they can get away with making comments that hate on straight people and whenever straight people say anything about gays they get all up in arms. That kinda confuses me...double standard?

Minorities and gays have absolutely no power to even opress or really do much about anything other than make comments.

Look, I agree that ths somewaht of a double standard, but you gotta realize thats what happens when they are constantly being treated as second class citizens and such. And please, don't kid yourself that discrimination and bigotry doesn't exist anymore.

She was drunk and got mad, but soon forgot. It doesnt work both ways sometimes.
