And I would venture to say that being racist isn't more than a stones throw away from being a homophobe. They're both motivated by the same things; hatred, ignorance, bigotry.

I am not saying that every part of the bible is true it is really old, but some of the stuff that people do is very wrong. So RYAN what is yout opinion on being gay? Do you think it is right? would you want a gay father a gay brother, a gay neighbor? The answer is NO.

Please don't try to answer questions for me. I don't care what orientation my neightbor is, or my siblings, or even my father.

For your information, I'm gay, and so are many people in this thread. I contribute to society, I work a full time job, go to college, live in a nice neighborhood and know most of my neighbors, volunteer for good causes in my community. I have a great family, my parents are both in the military (I great up in a normal family), my sister has child that I watch all the time, and am helping raise. I'm in a dedicated relationship with my partner also. What is wrong about my life, and how does it effect you?

Humans weren't supposed to eat modified corn starch, or travel to Mars, or wear headphones, or play violin, or lift weights. We do anyway because A) We have figured out how to adapt to what we want to do and B) Why not? While I don't think that they can't or shouldn't, I worry about what "gay" relationships will do in terms of the continuance of humanity. The human race is not Asexual, we require opposite genders to procreate. If we were denied our access to technology (and/or the idea of a sperm bank is considered abborant), and "gay" people wanted to respect the bond they have with their partnet in terms of sexual activity, where does this leave us?

The only issue I have personally with the issue of "gay" marrage is when they try to force it on people that disagree with it. Part of the foundation for the agruement (IMO) for Gay marriage is the right to choose. People have the right to choose that they don't like the idea of Gay marriage do they not? I don't believe in people attempting to force their values of beliefs on others which is something that bugs me from time to time with the crusaders of Gay marriage.

They HAVE to force the issue, because how else are they going to change it? I'm sure if it's anyone who doesn't appreciate having values and beliefs shoved on them, it's the gays.

Marriage is a religious affair, and it should remain up to the churches to decide if they want to "marry" gays. Which should appease the religious zealots, but it doesnt. They apparently need to make sure gays don't get tax breaks either.

Lol - is this the best peopel can drum up? The continuace of humanity?! We're already overpopulated as it is, homosexuals aren't going to change anything.

How does changing biased laws equate to forcing homosexuality down your throat? If you don't accept it, then don't accept it - that's all you can do.
