I couldn't personally care what anybody's sexual orientation is, if you're gay so be it. I don't personnally verbally or physically attack homosexuals. What I take offense to are the people who feel they have to flaunt their homosexuality and demand protection for CHOOSING to act a certain way. That is when they tend to draw fire from the anti-gay community.
My personal feeling is that homosexuality is a lifestyle CHOICE, and as such does not deserve any additional rights or priveledges over those already provided to non-homosexuals, bi-sexuals, tri-sexuals, etc. I bring this point up because of a situation that happened in New England. Several years ago, homosexuals were asking the state of Colorado to draft new laws which provided certain rights for homosexuals. Colorado refused to grant these new laws so the homosexual community chose to boycott all Colorado skiing facilities.
They then chose Mt Snow in Vermont as the new homosexual "skiing headquarters" (I'm not making this up). There was nothing wrong with Mt Snow's new-found fame except for the fact that some homosexuals decided to "party" along the way to the slopes. If any of you have seen the movie "There's something about Mary", then you'll know where they were "partying", ....... at the rest stops. It got so out of control that the state closed all of the rest stops along I-91 south of the exit to Mt Snow. This was prompted because countless families were exposed (rim shot) to the actions of over zealous butt pirates who couldn't control themselves in public. So thanks to a small cross section of the community, a much larger portion of the population has to go without services which, until then, hadn't been abused.
Moral of the story is, the farther outside the norm you CHOOSE to act, the more attention (positive or negative) you will receive.
