not for me, but for children all over America. It'll confuse them. Homosexuality may be an accepted aberration of (human) nature, but it shouldn't be accepted as just sexual phase. Not only will that stunt the population over the long term, but it has catastrophic moral consequences, the least being family values.

I agree. Gay is a practice of sexual immorality, it's unnatural. it's not right that we publicly accept it. it's like publicly accepting adultery. with the way things are going, maybe one day having sexual relationship with animals is in the accepted norm.

Maybe you, Dari and Pat Robertson can go have a prayer-a-thon about it. Meanwhile, the rest of us can mind our own business content in the fact that nothing's being hurt except your fragile religious sensitivities.

Perhaps, one day when you're walking your kids in the park and see two grown men either having aggressive anal sex or performing a 69, you'd have no problem explaining it to them.

Actually, I think you have it all wrong. Without addressing the anomaly you (so far) are using as your sole reason to hate gays (that being your incident in the park), explaining homosexuality can be as easy to explain to a child as heterosexuality. you explain it to them just like you explain sex to them. When I taught my daughter about sex,I also taught her about homosexuality.

You are far more likely to have to explain to your kids about obscene things men do to women in porn and movies that are on late at night than explaining two men or women haveing sex. It happened to me when my daughter was switching through the channels late at night and she stopped on a channel, shocked, as two men screwed this woman. It was an awkward moment.

stoning is a practice of culture and governing laws, but the Commandments are not. Laws can change, but the Commandments have never changed. what is sinful is still sinful no matter what time period or where a person is in. Give me a reference where the Commandments about meat on Friday if you can.

anyway, why should I care? well I don't really. but sometimes it's helpful to take note of what's happening around you. take a look at the last 100 years: there was WWI, WWII, and many other small scale wars even to today; the nation of Israel was established for the 3rd time (and the last time according to the Bible), nuclear weapons, '911'......

good point Jason. sometimes translations can altered the meaning slightly, and interpretation can alter the meaning even more. i guess that's how some cults use certain passages in the Bible and interpret literally or the way they wanted to mislead people. it's like reading any other books, if you just read a few sentences it might be confusing to you what they mean, but if you read the entire book then you'll have a clearer idea.

A cult worships Satan, as simple as that.

Catholic is becoming more cultic because they believed in the Pope, and the Pope is 10O% human elected by humans, and some of those humans are electing a gay bishop. 1.) If Satan worshiping becomes large enough and manages to gain a certain control in the political arena, then yes it too can become a mainstream religion. All religions were at one time seen as cults in their earlier years. Christianity in it's earlier years was seen as a jewish cult by both Roman pagan worshipers and fellow orthodox jews. Jesus basiclly broke all the rules of the main stream orthodox jewish religon in that part of the world and was seen as a cult leader in his day, believe it or not.
