I just got home from an exam.

I completely over prepared for it. I spend a good 4 days studying for it. 2 of those days was hardcore studying.

So I got the exam back, expecting in all honesty, 1... maybe 2 wrong answers.

Yea well I got a fvcking 76.

I'm so fvckin ripped right now. 8 hours in the last two days, studying, and I somehow fvcking blew it goddamnit.

I mean all is not lost, since in this class the teacher drops the lowest grade of the 5 exams but I fvcking blew the freebie. I should have had an easy A and still had the freebie packed away.

Now I have to get like 167% on the rest of my exams.

Wow I want to strangle the sh!t outta somebody right now.

Goddamn College blues.

Where's the nearest pizza place? I think I'm going to go and savage someone whose waiting in line. And then pull chairs out from underneath my fellow classmates and maybe throw a rubber band on my professors desk.

Sh!t is outta control.

I know the feeling, I haven't slept since sunday night, 2 tests, a 10 page paper and a 40 page business plan this week. The last test is in an hour. My test last night I was really over prepared for but somehow got an 89, I contested one question, which I feel I have a decent chance of getting back, but I got an 89 on the last test, and this is not a hard class dsmnit!

Wow, feel lucky that you have 5 freakin tests...I have taken several classes where there were 3 tests that determine your grade. Midterm 1: 25%, Midterm 2: 25%, Final: 50%. When you factor in the fact that there are usually 2-3 problems on each one of the Midterms (thus determining maybe 10-15% of your grade each) you know you better not screw up on em. :) Though, people usually do, and scores of 15% on tests are not uncommon.

you should try the classes that have a 50/50 midterm/final or just one final/final paper.

Just concentrate on your other tests, it's not the end of world.

You know what?

I just typed out some 100 page, feeling like some sort of victim response, and had to stop myself.

I sound like a little bitch. It's time to man up.

I don't know if it was reading your replies or what, but keeping an attitude like I had making this thread is only gonna make sh!t hard.

*passes a beer to DaiShan*

Fvck this, I don't know about you but I got this sh!t.

I mean it's all good and great that I have 5 tests and some people only have 1 big one or 2 50/50's but I don't.

And that's not my grade, so I can't care.

But you're right though, I see what you're saying.

But regardless, I'm still pissed.

I've never had a class with five exams. You should be thanking your lucky stars you've got an opportunity to make up the difference.

Ussually when I study I do really good. Like last year I got a 94 on the regents as I studied really hard for it. Since I did get such a high grade my teacher passed me even though I had a failing grade.

I got some!

It's more of a big deal because I worked so hard and somehow blew it. I have no idea how either.

Fun fact : I have never got anything less than an A on anything Psych. related until tonight. This exam including the first fvckin assignment the genius posting this missed, probably has my class grade standing at somehere in between 60-70.

I dunno, like I said the thing that urks me most is I put so much effort into the sh!t for it to still flop. It wasn't even a hard test. I must have just blew a fuse prepping for all these exams.

Anyways, I can make it up.

76%?

That's pretty good. In engineering, that's considered an A

I found that doing the homework helped me to get a lot better test scores.

For some odd reason 30-60% of the tests were about stuff Not covered during class.

I finally asked a teacher one day, when did we go over the Erie Canal?

He said it was part of your homework, which you never do,but, you need to,in order
to get better grades.He said the class time was not enough to go over everything;
and thats why he gave homework most days.

:( I thought it was "make work".

If thats not helpful to you,get a real crappy job,for 2 years,
and then return to College/school.You will probably get Much better grades.
;)
Oh I went back, and took a Diesel engine college course 3 years ago;I got an "A".

I did the crappy job route for 4 years.

I also do all the homework plus some.

Honestly I just think it was a glitch in the matrix.

I have to make the thread end with BEER because that makes me smile.

Re-reading this response, this is probably the best advice anyone can get regarding the college subject in general.

That's weird... you know... cause usually when you study a lot for a test, you do well on it... see... but you did the opposite... somehow you studied a lot, and did very poorly.
