Hello fellow crunchers from Team Anandtech . I think you all can remember The Seti Gauntlets from past years.
It was loads of fun and it was nice to communicate with the people who where involved.
Again whe want to organize a gauntlet and of course you are invited to join with a team of your best number crunchers and compete against the other teams from The Netherlands, Germany, France and the UK.
I would like to see one or more members of your team who will be acting as ambassadoors who will post the team's specs and other info on both forum's bulletin boards.
We all look forward to engage your team(s) again in the upcoming gauntlet.
It's still a basic setup; we have no start date yet at first we first are looking for teams to join and then we can see about dates and goals.

I guess 'cause Berkely can't get their BOINC servers to run straight for 24 hours in a row and thus would jeopardy the whole thing. :evil:
 
running Boinc since April 2003, and have no Probs here

if you have setup the Cache in the right order, i think there are no Probs.

No internet at work so I need to feed a local queue to give WUs to the clients.
BOINC doesn't support this sort of setup so BOINC isn't a good choice for me.

Did you pick up all the names from the other gauntlet thread?

I already posted on their forums, but it was awhile back. My SETI name is "The Wildnet TeAm".
 
So they started the charts up early to get an idea of what everyone does, so that teams can be better sorted out?

I should be able to do 10 a day or more when at full speed.

OK people, it's time to fire up all those boxes. The gauntlet is gonna start shortly!!! 21st of february at 8:00 hrs GMT+1
