yeah, the ref should have stepped in becuz floyd was pushing down on that back of gatti's neck, but hey... they say "protect yourselves at all times" for a reason.

Wow, I thought Mayweather would win a decision...I know Gatti has power, but he can't "box" with Mayweather. But boy, his fights were awesome to watch.

Gatti should just take this loss and retire for good

gatti just couldn't land any meaningful punches. when gattis throws, floyd has already moved or he'll throw a punch of his own and beat gatti to the mark. this fight was as one sided as anything i've ever seen.

I have said on other forums talking about boxing, PBF is the best figher to come down the pike since Ali. What made Ali and now PBF different from all the other fighters, not only are they immensely talented, they are able to use every ounce of their ability to perfection, they also are mentally above the rest. These are just gifted.

Gatti had a terrible fight plan. He didn't have a chance BOXING Mayweather in the middle of the ring. His only shot would have been to force him to the ropes and slug it out with him. He would have got hit, sure, but he also would have hit Mayweather. As it was, he didn't do ANY damage.

I was hoping for better out of Gatti, and would have loved an upset, but I knew he didn't have anywhere near the speed of Mayweather. Just more heart, and more class.
Mayweather is a baby and a jerk, but he's the best fighter out there right now.


Hopkins is coming up......boring, but smart and tough.
