worst officiating call I've EVER seen in college football..
the ref did the one thing that refs are hired not to do, and that's display clear bias... CLEAR BIAS.. unbelievable..
now i'm no florida fan, i'm a miami fan.. and i don't like tenn either.. but fla just got ripped off on that personal foul call.. i could not believe the call that ref made..
i mean, normally you can say, well the ref only saw this, or only saw that.. but there is NO WAY that the ref did not see BOTH of the personal fouls... he should have called two penalties which would have canceled each other out or called none.. but what he did was just plain ridiculous and biased, and he should get fired for it... he (amongst other things) cost florida the game...
It was clearly the right call. The UT player simply shoved the FL player in the face mask. This type thing happens all the time without a penalty. The problem was that the FL player retaliated with a blow to the side of the head. Had he just shoved the UT player back, there would not have been a penalty. You can shove someone without getting a penalty, but anytime you slap someone upside the head you will get called.
Also, as was stated earlier, how can you say that UT would not have still gotten within FG range and hit a game winner.
Your logic is flawed. Stop posting in this thread if you dont know what you're talking about.
