Gateway VX1120, Warm deal?

OK they have a gateway vx1120 monitor for 499.99 plus 45 dollars shipping. The monitor only has a 90 day warranty. I have never heard of the place before, so I do not know how good they are, and I dont see anything about the stock. You can call them up and check it out yourself.

Aside from the 90 day warranty, this is a hot deal. This monitor has a Mitsubishi Diamondtron screen and usually sells for more, I would imagine. I've never heard of the store either though so I'm going to pass.

If you goto Gateway's site, it says the VX1120 is in fact a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2020u monitor, and contains a Mitsubishi Diamondtron Tube, although they list the max resolution as 1600x1200 and not 2048x1536 like the Y3K page says.

They say that the monitor has a max resolution of 1800x1440 @ 80hz.

This is a hell of a monitor.. if there's an extended warranty tho I'd suggest you buy it..

I agree. Even if the monitor is the best that is, was, or ever will be, a 90 day warranty is taking too big a chance for $500 bucks.
