Here From the pix, It looks like this is a rebaged Logitech Keyboard.....just my opinion......This is the cheapest price I seen......but the thing is you need to order more then $10 per order......deal ends tomorrow at 1pm....

I'm pretty sure it's not a rebadged Logitech but it is certainly nice keyboard with a good feel to it...buy a couple for $12 and get a quality keyboard dirt cheap..

Good deal, just ordered one. Pretty nice since it comes with the Internet buttons and 2 built-in USB ports! Thanks akahai.

I just examined the back of this keyboard and found no reference to Logitech.
IMHO it is a very good KB and a great bargain.

So it's basically a keyboard with a little USB hub built in then isn't it? Not bad at all 🙂

being that i worked for gateway here in california, i can say that this keyboard is not made by logitech. it's a gateway-branded keyboard, made by some outside company. it's called the "gateway multi-function keyboard." good piece of hardware, soft keys. hope this helps.

Its been my experience that lately OEMs, specifically dell and gateway make excellent keyboards, I especially like the black dells, bought two and got one with my 1400sc 🙂 certainly a good deal. HPs are take or leave most often leave. IBM as well IMHO makes a fanstatic plain jane kbd. Certainly no replacement for my wireless one but ya know 🙂.

Gateways optical mouse is logitech rebadge. This keyboard may very well be as well. It even has colored accent panels available for 20 bucks for all four colors from gateway. 🙂

Access Panel Kit includes 3 pieces

Midtower front, top and keyboard overlay. The gray areas.

Something else gateway spent some dough on that didnt work out 🙂

Access panels are now discontinued from regular configurations. Remaining stock is available by calling 1-800-GAT-EWAY

Hey StaysCrunchy, since you're familiar with this keyboard, will it work with Win XP? Looks like a nice keyboard, but I need for most of the functions to work in XP, especially the media and volume controls. What do ya think?

Thanks, Rick

did you know that the pic shows other character (probalby chinese or japanese) ..

is this booby or what 😛

I got mine last week and both the Enter and Backspace key are normal size (nothing like those weird shaped ones in the picture) and there are no weird characters on the keys either. The layout is like a regular keyboard only with the special buttons in the gray area on top and the USB ports on the side. Hope that helps.

It looks like the same keyboard that came with my Gateway like 2 years ago, and it was a really nice keyboard. It kind of looked like a Logitech keyobard too.

the multifunction keyboards work well with XP. full functionality of hot buttons work by downloading the keyboard drivers from the gateway website. hope this helps.

On the Netropa website: "Note: Netropa Corporation does not sell keyboards. Various hardware manufacturers license our software to bundle with their keyboards."

Gateway has used several good keyboards over the years, including this one. A couple other deals I've seen for an older model Gateway in black, or an HP with fancier buttons and volume knob, are here.
