http://technews.netscape.com/news/0-1006-200-2198230.html Mobo and P.S. problems seem to continue to haunt AMD CPU's. Anybody know which mobo Gateway is using, or is it more than just one mobo vendor having problems? Just when I thought it was safe to "test the waters" of AMD, this comes up.

And funny how the "hype" sites seem to have conveniently overlooked this. If it was Intel, they'd be on it like flies on sh!t ...

Just trying to avoid whichever board G'Way is using ... they use a multitude of suppliers at times.
 
Yep, Gateway as stated it has nothing to do w/ the 1GHz T-Bird in particular, and rather their system setup (i.e. MB etc.).
