Regular price is $479 but with the newer version coming to take its place (FHD2401, no scaler chip? only VGA DVI HDMI) they are trying to clear stock from what I can tell. This may be a 4th of July sale so hurry if you're in the market. This is purely YMMV. Got mine in Pineville, NC for $433.99 + $31.46(tax) = 465.45 out the door.

Glossy screen and its damned beautiful for a TN panel. Gotta love the scaler chip, PIP, USB and the "portrait mode". Get this monitor before its replaced with its lesser brother.

I went looking for this lcd thursday and it was gone so I got the new one, faster response time, 2ms, and better contrast ratio - 2000:1. $10.00 cheaper according to the shelf tags but no USB. I would have made an offer for the display model but it was damaged. The 2401 I got wasn't on sale and cost $498 out the door. Absolutely the best monitor I've ever had. I'm not fond of the touch controls but I'll get used to them. I think they work by sensing the tempurature of your fingertip and I've beaten my hands for so many years I need to touch the buttons "just so" or I can't use it. Sweet monitor.

I have the FHD2400...it's an amazing monitor. Currently use it with my PS3 via HDMI and my cheap media server through VGA. Couldn't be happier.
