Gateway 1975w w/GeForce 6600 troubles

So I got this monitor 6 months ago and just received one from warranty because of the whole digital input being flaky. But now I cannot get the 1440 x 900 resolution to work right. Every time I set it to 1440 it has my tray off the side of the screen. So I have to move my mouse over to the right and then the screen scrolls over more to see it. So I am setting it to 1200 x 900 or something close to that which sucks. Has anyone else ever had this issue before. I know before when I had it set to analog(VGA) I didnt have the issue. And yes my monitor supports this resolution.

Do you have multiple monitors or something like that setup?

Which driver version are you using?

Is the resolution available as a default, or have you added it as a custom resolution?

I am using the newest driver from Nvidia, and it is a default resolution that is available to me. Yes I have a 32inch LCD that is set to 1024 x 768.

I have it set to allow each monitor to have its own resolution, it used to work fine but the monitor had the DVI flaw so I got a new one and now DVI works but now it has this new issue.
