The way I see it the only problem is that she made the big mistake of *vowing* to stay a virgin until marriage. Now I would never make a claim like that as thats not going to happen for me. VERY FEW women are still a virgin by the time they are 21 years old. A few are, but not many...

The idea is to promote the image to all the 13 and 14 year old girls out there so they wait until they are adults before having sex.

That is the real push behind telling kids to wait until marriage. Not that we actually expect them to wait, rather just to wait until they are adults and are a bit more mature and prepared to handle it.
