I got back just to say that I switched from Premium to Regular and it?s great, the car now feels as good as when I bought it. I will always obey the user manual :(

I've got a question about gas. Why is it that the east coast has 93 but it seems the west coast only goes up to 91?

Ok, actually, I'd guess that it's a local thing for different elevations maybe.

Mainly environmental regulations and transport considerations as I understand it. The additional additives required both to meet certain states' (CA, I'm looking at you) emissions laws and to ensure that the gasoline stays "fresh" During transport (since there are no refineries on the West Coast) tend to drop the octane rating a little bit.

I could be wrong, but this seems logical to me. Anyone with better information please correct me.
