I will think twice about driving anywhere unless it is really necessary! not much we can do about it, heh and it must be the economy going up to.

Jeebus, people. Ride your bike or something now and then and it's just not that big a deal. It costs me $30+ to fill my Explorer, but I only do so roughly once every 1-2 weeks.

Oh come on, gas in a relatively inelastic product. As the price goes up or down, demand will stay relatively constant. You know, and I know that you will continue to purchase gas, and drive, and I pay $2.10 per gallon.

You are not qualified to talk about gasoline.

Stop buying Premium if your automobile doesen't require it. That will help.

some people do have to drive. Its at least a half hour drive each way for me to take my son to school everyday.

Not all of us are lucky enough to be able to do all of our travelling like you. And by that I mean clad only in a thong.

That remains to be seen.

However, the fact that oil production is going down, and has since the year 2000, is quite alarming.

unfortunately, riding a bike is not an option for me... i deliver pizza on the weekends, and work for a guy 45 minutes away during the week.

I understand this, but my point is that many people can cut down on car trips one way or another. The vast majority of people clogging Atlanta's highways every day are the sole occupants of their car. ;)

Jeebus, man. Drink water or something now and then and it's just not a big deal. It cost me only $3.89 to fill my milk supply, but I only do so roughly every 1-2 weeks.

Hehe....my milk thread was largely a parody of all the gasoline whining threads. ;)

I do drink a lot of milk, but the brand I prefer is organic so I already pay a bit of premium.

Yeah, because those of us with a 20+ mile commute can easily bike 40+ miles a day.

$2.25/gallon for 87 here...

its 1.99 here, 12 gallon = 24. i have to refill twice a week so that's 48 a week. 48 x 4 = 192/month just on gas alone. not to mention oil change, tire change. and other misciallaneous extra fee. insurances 310 for 6 months, 620 / year. It's killing me man..insurance are going up as well, it did for me by 60 bucks.

Honestly, that's really not as bad as it sounds. My commute is 8 miles each way and it only takes me 30 minutes. It's actually faster than driving 90% of the time thanks to Atlanta gridlock.

My commute isn't flat, and it's about 24 miles via the freeway. Bikes are not allowed on the freeway. Thus, taking bike accessable routes would add a few more miles. It would take 2 hours to bike what I drive. Just assuming I don't sweat and have to shower by the time I get there, I'd still have to leave by 7am and wouldn't get home until 8pm.

I commute an hour to work and an hour from every day. I don't have a choice. It's the only job I could find.:(
I do not drive a gas guzzler.
I do not drive unless I have to (ie i don't make needless trips).

And yes, it is indeed expensive. The highest it has ever been around here.

Regular is 1.89, Plus is 1.99 and Prem. is 2.09.

And that is the cheaest station in our neighborhood.
