Really? Don't you have to be a costco member or something to get that price? The cheapest down San Jose way I have seen is still around $1.90.

I got gas for $1.39 at Mobile(love that speedpass) here in Detroit which has had some of the highest prices in the country lately.

I gassed up a couple of weekends ago in Detroit for $1.55, refueled in Indiana for $1.41, went to Chicago where it was $1.89-$1.99, stopped at the same Indiana station two days later and it was $1.35 and gassed up again in Detroit Sunday for $1.39. Make of it what you will.

Most high gas prices are the results of government taxes and regulations. Politicians blame oil company gouging because they know the public is pretty stupid and ignorant and will chase the ball when it's thrown.

I've seen gas for as low as $1.08 9/10 here in Lexington. Most places are around $1.18 9.10 now.

We all must halucinating because I distinctly remember someone saying gas was going to be $3.00/gal. this summer. Then again I also have been told that man made green house gasses were the cause for the unnatural global warming that is taking place.

A couple weeks ago the cheapest big name place (Chevron, 76) was around $1.919, while there was this other no name place at $1.819. Now it'a about $1.879 and 1.799, whoo!

Like I said, love that speedpass, but thanks anyway. Nothing like waving your keys at the pump and getting the h3ll out of there.

I think it's down to a $1.40 here. I'm not sure, it's been a while since I filled up. At least it is finally taking a turn for the better.
