Gas jumped 22% today!

Maybe you're gas station ran out. Every station I'm seeing around DFW, TX is ~1.50 and has been this way constant.

Quick check on ole gasbuddy.com shows nationwide drop again across the board, looks like a unique situaiton for you.

It's strange. I noticed the same thing today; I left for work (around 9:30) and gas was 1.57. Left work (4:00) and the same gas station was 1.75. WTF? Then I rolled by another gas station a block away and a few others nearby was 1.55-1.57. The oddball station was speedway....

Yes it is.

Just like that 7.0 earthquake that you predicted would happen on the west coast of the US within 3 weeks? That was over a year ago.

12-11-2008 Oil rises 10 percent after OPEC calls for "severe" cut

Oil surged more than 10 percent on Thursday, settling at nearly $48 a barrel after the OPEC president called for more "severe" production cuts and the dollar fell to a seven-week low versus the euro.

"We are starting to see the real engine for lifting oil prices, cuts in OPEC production, and it seems likely they will cut production at their meeting next week," said Tim Evans, energy analyst for Citi Futures Perspective.

The U.S. dollar weakened after data on weekly U.S. jobless claims came in worse than expected [ID:nN11392744]. A weak dollar can boost investor demand for oil and other dollar-denominated commodities.

The earthquake hit a little later and not quite as high as 7.0 but it did in fact hit as I said it would.

Jealous much?

Try again

In other words, you were wrong. Guanodave strikes out again.

$1.61 this morning, $1.80 this evening - another Speedway station. Everywhere else was the same as when I went to work.

How much you want to bet that gas won't hit $10/gallon?
