Mice have chewed holes in my old plastic gas cans, went to buy a new one & can't get the damn things to dispense gas for my snow blower. Didn't the designers realize that maybe not every person needing a gas can was male, between 16 and 40, and super strong?

Anyone know which of the new style cans is the easiest to use? Or a safe hack to the crappy available cans? There's a possibly very snowy winter ahead and the snow blower demands gasoline to work.

I'd modify what you have. Remove any spill protector it may have, and use a cork for the end.

That spout is a problem. I like shorter ones and an air relef on the back. You may be some spill out the air relef putting it back down when full which is probably why the resign.

The solution would be put the 'fill line' lower, but most don't want a half-filled container so we deal with these monstrousities.

The freebie craftsman cans work well for me. Usually every christmas I pick up one or two.

You can't get the ones with the air relief anymore, and these stupid spout designs are now mandatory. Partially because if complete utter retards that sue for stuff like this:

Consumers have accused the company of making faulty cans that explode when used to pour gasoline onto fires.

WELL DUH! What else do you expect could happen if you pour something highly flammable on a fire?!

I have an older can that the cap is missing on (it was here when I started renting the place) so I got another cap that sort of fits. I hate the can but I hate the newer ones even more. If I got a newer one the first thing I'd do is rip out all the anti-stupid-person garbage.

Why not? It's just a fancy version of the bare hose. No lingering gas taste :^D

You can't stick the hose into modern cars fuel tanks because there is a mesh blocking entrance into there.

Hahaha maybe it's the 2 beers in me, maybe it's the UTTER STUPIDITY of blaming the gas can manufacturers for exploding gas cans after POURING FUEL ON A FIRE.

POURING FUEL ON A FIRE.

POURING FUEL ON A FIRE.

but I literally fell out of my chair laughing at that! Hey can I sue these stupid people if break my ass bone falling out of chairs LMAO? Not that I broke anything but if I did?

You want a gas can to spill a little bit. It's a wonderful way to enjoy the smell of gas without being accused of sniffing it! "I'm not sniffing gas, it got on my hand!"

Look at the metal cans on Amazon. If they're like the ones I've seen they're really easy to use but not super cheap.

I'm unaware of such a thing. Gas theft has been on the rise due to higher prices. Some pros are using a large tank in a van or box truck, and pumping the fuel from tanks.

Wait so I am using it wrong when I take the nozzle off and just poor the gas in to the lawn mower?
