I have one of these. It is very efficient and accurate as a navigation unit. It uses the Palm OS and has all Palm functionality. A recessed antenna flips up to turn on the GPS portiion of the unit.

The only negatives are that it takes a while to sync up with satellites. (Minimum 5 minutes), and that it really needs the automotive kit to be usable in a car. You can't just sit it on the seat because the antenna needs line of sight.

Mines only takes about a minute or two to sync up with satellites when I'm outside. I haven't tried it in the car yet.
I'll try again and time it next time.

True dat...that's why I bought an external low-profile GPS antenna for when I use the 3600 in my vehicle--it syncs up really fast...many times it takes no more than 10 seconds!

Sync is pretty fast if you haven't moved since last sync. But if you've moved, it can take several minutes. I might have to try the external antenna too ..

But the iQue becomes much cooler when you run PathAway. It'll show your location on a satellite photo map!

How much did you pay for yours and where did you get it from?
