I picked up the Garmin eTrex Legend from Circuit City tonight for $250 - (110% * $50 pricematch to Best Buy's rebate) = $195 + Tax - 50 Garmin Rebate.... Total $145.

Best Buy shows 2 rebates on this item... one best buy rebate and another manufactuer rebate. Both are for $50. The manufactuer rebate does not need to be used with any specific retailer.

Best Buy $50 Rebate
Garmin $50 Rebate

Garmin $50 rebate through Garmin's site that does not list BestBuy

You might be able to get Circuit City to pricematch to the BestBuy Rebate and the Garmin rebate which would make this $250 - 50 PM - 50 PM - 50 Garmin rebate = <>$100

etrex vista also has the 2 $50 rebates for a total of $250 AR.

Funny. This is the first time I've seen this on a rebate form: Please Note - Rebate coupons are not valid for purchases made at online auctions.

Bump for Geocaching.
Man my friends and I have had some terrible luck geocaching lately. Out of the past 5 cashes we looked for we found 1.

Yea you really don't need such a complex GPS for wardriving since you have a computer running all the stuff, b/c you can import into mappoint and what not. I use a standard yellow eTrex fine.

Anyone have any experience between the Garmin and Magellan units that can recommend one over the other?
