Garden State question

In the movie Garden State, Natalie Portman says "I'm not riding the side car, side cars are for bitches, anyone who rides that is automatically your bitch".

What does she mean?

Thank you.

I think its kinda self-explainitory isn't it?
If you ride in the sidecar you're a bitch.
Not every line in movies has a dual meaning.

it's fascinating commentary aimed at the oppressive anti-equality movements of the 1940s - in particular, producers of side-cars and motorcycles with side-cars. the regime was powerful and the propaganda swift, but the movement was quelled in 1960 with the advent of cheap personal scooters.
