Yes, let the hate flow through you. Embrace the Douche side!
Garbage collectors are poorly paid, have to work outside in all kind of nasty weather, yet you expect professional service. Ya want professional service, be prepared to pay a bunch extra for it, Mr lazy can't rip apart a pizza box. Can't stay inside of two trash cans, go and buy bigger cans.
then I guess I'll start putting my cans out every week regardless of how much is in them just so they have to stop and I get my moneys worth.
How do you live in your own filth & trash for 3 weeks?
Sounds like you're the filthy one generating garbage at an astounding pace.
Its from all the food I eat to give me energy in order to destroy those tough and unbreakable pizza boxes.
I think you're just a slob.
Just this week I had two cans, and I put a pizza box that wouldn't fit in my can on top of one of the cans. You emptied my cans, then shoved the pizza box into the can and left it at my house.
Any chance the pizza box fell on the ground behind the cans pre-pick-up and were placed in the can by a passing neighbor post-pick-up?

Doubtful. Any time I put an item beyond 2 cans out they leave it there.
my garbage men are strange from week to week. One week i had flattened out a bunch of boxes and placed them vertically in another box for trash day and they left the box and a nastygram saying they needed to bound with string instead of in a box. Yet the very next week they took a 200lb treadmill with black mold on it no questions asked.
And you expected this time to be different?
OK.

I just keep praying for a new garbage man. The old crew would take anything. Not sure who this new guy thinks he is. It started about 6 months ago.

just out of curiosity, is there a rule that pizza boxes get collected on the paper/recyclable day?
