So 2 years ago i was doing some yard work so i plugged my electric chainsaw into the garage socket. It worked fine for 20 minutes or so then it stopped working.
Ever since then that plug has been dead. The other socket in the garage works, but the one i used for the garage opener is dead.
Both sockets are GFCI and none are tripped. One is just 100% dead.
Already checked the breaker many times.
Is possible for something that pulls a lot of power to kill a entire GFCI socket? Should i buy a new GFCI outlet and install it?
Thanks
