Gantt Chart software

As the tittle and topic summary says

So you guys used any that you liked?

At the moment I have this thing in Execel and THERE MUST be one that you guys have used and liked. I have done a search on google and the pictures I've seen have not been good. So was thinking any of you guys used any and liked it.

hmm..well I've always used MS Project for my gantt chart needs.

I would recommend MS Project if you don't mind shelling out a lot of cash. You can also make Gantt charts in Visio but it's pretty tedious. As for cheaper software, I haven't got a clue (all my chart making occurs at work, so I haven't had to pay for any of my own software).

p.s. I agree that making Gantt charts in Excel is really painful.

It depends what you would like to do.

MS Project is an Excellent Project program Gant chart is just part of the package.

There are simpler drawing program that just draw Charts.
