I currently have :

CPU - Intel E8400 C2D
Mobo - Abit IP35 PRO (lacking support)
Mem - 4g Patriot Extreme DDR2 800
Vid - Asus 4870 1gig
Monitor - 24" Samsung
Windows 7 64 bit


I mostly play WoW. I plan on getting SC2 before too greatly long but dont want to before i upgrade the system. I am having some stability and crash issues with IE and WoW and cant determine what my problem is. I ran memtest overnight and when i woke up Windows was loaded and didnt see any error messages so not sure if it crashed and rebooted or went thru fine. I reinstalled Windows fresh loaded and upgraded my Drivers none of this fixed my issues. I had a slight overclock on the system and even took that off to make sure and having same issues.

But anyhow I am looking at upgrading and keeping it Inexpensive at the same time better then what i have. What i am currently looking at is.

I am going to be reusing my Hard Drive, Video Card, DVD burner, and monitor.

Any suggestions about parts that may be swapped to cheapen the price and keep around the same level of performance would be appreciated.
 
If you came back and memtest wasn't still running, then the system did indeed crash.

All of that stuff looks fine, but what you really need the most is a GPU upgrade.
 
Hmmm ... might just have to try and replace my RAM and see where that leads ... i have an aunt that will buy my current system off me come tax time. And with my own taxes i could push for a full upgrade. Might just have to try a $100 fix.

And yes Skuz i actually like the looks of that case better then the other. I was mainly picking that case do to price, not really looks.

it was $20 shipping actually making it more then the one i showed you since it was free shipping.
