First off, you might want a PSU if you want your rig to work...... I would go X2 if I were you. Unless ALL you do is game... I also wouldn't get WD's as my drives, they are a waste of money and I prefer seagate > WD. that's just imo though, looks good though, you will love the P180 :)

i agree the 3700 is a good choice too (what i'll be getting) but the 4000 is an awesome processor. i might change your hard drive. there's a SATA II version Western Digital makes with 16mb cache. you can get the 250gb one for $117.

You will want a Power Supply :p

Cooling device for what?

Nice Case

Get a Hitachi SATAII 250GB hard drive

The hitachi SATAII hard drive will be faster than the western digital raptor, raptors are a waste of money so DO NOT BUY IT!!

Get the Jetway SLI Mobo with 3 PCI Express slots. Read Anand's review to see how well it performs.

Great graphic card!!!

What speakers do you have? An x-fi would be a waste if your speakers aren't good enough.

I like my mx518!! It is a good mouse!

It's a good thing to get 2 GB, go with that ram!

Are you kidding me? A 4000+?!?!? Either get a 3700+, X2 3800+, or if you can afford it (which you probably can since you will not be buying a raptor), a X2 4400+ Dual core is the way to go!

What can I say about the OS? You don't have much of a choice. XP Pro is good.

Get a BenQ DVD burner for MUCH better performance.

WD Caviar SE16 (if you really feel the need to stick with them) /Hitachi 7k250/New Seagate 7200.9 or .8

Deluxe is crap, get a Premium at the least. There is really no need for SLI as it isn't cost-effective.
Epox 9NPA+Ultra or DFI nF4 Ultra-D

perhaps you may want to step down to a 3700+? As suggested, you may want to give the X2 3800+ a try

Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Service Pack 2 - OEM

PLEXTOR Black IDE DVD Burner Model PX-716AL/SW - Retail
Do you really want to pay that premium for the Plextor name? BenQ DW1640

Wise advice.

Just as a little sidenote, if you monitor doesn't do 1600x1200 or higher, you should be considering the 7800GT at most.
If it does, then keep that 7800GTX.

For heatsink, the Thermaltake Big Typhoon is my recommendation, as i quite like mine, & it's regarded as the best air cooler out there.

For PSU, i'd say the OCZ Powerstream 520W
